Glen Weaver (shown above) purchased the XK140 from Ed Dorsk in November 1982. Glen stored the car in the US for a couple of years and then exported the car to his home in Toronto Canada.

I have 3 pics of the car from the 1982 to 1984. From the pics and what Glen told me about the car, the XK140 had pretty good bones but was obviously in need of a complete restoration When Glen purchased the car in 1982, the car had its original motor and tranny, but had a passenger car cylinder head. During the restoration Glen located an original C cylinder head and that now sits on the engine.

The XK140 had a bit of rust in the usual places - like in the A Post Area. and had a few places showing a minor wreck. But overall, the car was a great candidate for a restoration.
